Born and raised in the Pasadena area, we intimately know the homes, streets and neighborhoods of the San Gabriel-Foothills area. Our real estate business began in 1995, when Mike, after attending St. Francis High School in La Canada and graduating from University of Colorado at Boulder, began selling foreclosures for the banks. Always assuming we would settle in a place with great fly fishing, we came back to Pasadena raise our family, which has been a great choice, being surrounded by family, friends and an amazing community.  Mike moved from foreclosures into standard residential home sales in 2001, actively mentored new agents at Keller Williams Pasadena for a decade, and now is focused on growing our team to better serve clients. Integral to each transaction, Mike’s roles as lead listing agent, experienced negotiator and client advocate enables each transaction to move forward smoothly.

Our business expanded in 2011, when Erin, who graduated from Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy and Georgetown University, initially joined as Marketing Manager, and now serves as The Maloney Group’s buyers’ agent. Subsequent to being a breast cancer researcher at USC/Norris Cancer Center and a teacher at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, real estate enables Erin to bring a long-view perspective of service to each client, focusing on a highly personal, yet professional, experience that is vital when purchasing or selling property.

We are passionate about helping people attain their real estate goals, whether that be buying a first home, finding quality service providers to help with home improvement, investing in income property, or downsizing. We maintain long-term relationships with our clients, resolute to serve them and those closest to them throughout their lives. The Maloney Group has a mission, however: to connect people to their homes through their communities.

We personally are tied to our neighborhood and community in a way that enriches our lives in unexpected ways. Having carefully restored our 1911 Craftsman bungalow in the La Marguerita-Souders historic neighborhood of Alhambra, we share a passion for beautiful architecture, native California landscapes, and the vibrant community that sustains us. That being said, we steal away to the Sierras every once in awhile for rejuvenation and some fly fishing.

We look forward to meeting and working with you.
