What began in 2013 as a homemade flyer featuring 9 houses has since turned into a 300+ list of home haunts and attractions reaching from Ojai to San Diego. And it’s growing every year.

Don't miss the best of Halloween at Descanso Gardens! Carved is a family-friendly Halloween adventure featuring glowing jack-o'-lanterns, a pumpkin house, Día de los Muertos ofrenda, and more that’s open Oct. 3 – 30. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are on sale now at descansogardens.org.
San Gabriel Dumpling and Beer Fest
Friday, October 3, 2025 | 6-10pm
Started in 2015, the Dumpling and Beer Festival was created to highlight the City’s vibrant culinary scene and attract tourism to the Mission District. Since then, it has evolved into a beloved community celebration that showcases diversity and culture through food, drink, and shared experiences.
SPCC Moon Festival 2025
Saturday October 4th from 11am to 2:30pmSouth Pasadena Community Room and Library Park
Free community event co-hosted by the South Pasadena Chinese-American Club (SPCC) and the City of South Pasadena with cultural entertainment, arts and crafts, sidewalk drawing contest, fun with chopsticks, and other free activities. Food and Drinks will be available for purchase. Come be amazed at the rapid paced Chinese Face Changing full of colorful masks and different expressions. Enjoy kung fu demonstrations, cultural dancing and singing, and story time by Dual Immersion Teacher Ms Judy Ho. Numerous free activities and fun for everyone!

Boo at the L.A. Zoo
